Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, profile details, shipping information, payment readiness details, seller setup information, auction listings, bids, chat messages, and support requests.
We also collect information automatically when you use BidBro, such as device and browser data, log data, usage events, auction participation, stream interactions, notification preferences, and approximate location signals inferred from your device or network.
For email, we record consent history, delivery outcomes, provider events such as approximate opens, bounces and unsubscribes, first-party link clicks, and whether a clicked message led to a stream join, purchase, or wallet-credit redemption. Analytics use account and seller IDs rather than email addresses.
How We Use Information
We use information to operate BidBro, process account and auction activity, support bidding and checkout workflows, personalize the experience, send transactional notifications, prevent fraud and abuse, improve reliability, analyze product performance, and respond to support or legal requests.
We use email engagement and conversion information to improve timing and relevance, enforce frequency limits, prevent duplicate attribution, and understand which messages contribute to viewing and purchases.
Payments and Commerce
Payment processing may be handled by third-party payment providers. We do not intend to store full payment card numbers on BidBro systems. Payment providers may collect and process payment details under their own terms and privacy policies.
How We Share Information
We may share information with service providers that help us run BidBro, including hosting, authentication, analytics, notifications, payment, streaming, shipping, and customer support providers. We may also share information with sellers and buyers as needed to complete auction transactions, comply with law, enforce our terms, protect safety, or complete a business transfer.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure sessions, understand usage, and improve the service. Browser settings may let you limit cookies, but some parts of BidBro may not work correctly without them.
Your Choices
You can update certain account details in the app, manage notification preferences where available, and contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or export of your personal information. We may need to retain some information for security, legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes.
Marketing email can be turned off on the Notifications screen or through an unsubscribe link. Required order receipts and actionable payment alerts remain available independently of that marketing choice.
Data Security and Retention
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No online service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We retain information for as long as needed to provide BidBro, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
Recipient-level email delivery, click, and provider-event data is kept for up to 13 months, after which BidBro may retain aggregated results. Account deletion removes or anonymizes email attribution while required financial aggregates may be retained.
Children
BidBro is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
Contact
For privacy questions or requests, contact BidBro support through the support channel provided in the app or by using the contact method listed on our website.
